@robbohuyton He was the right guy last season and the "data" nerds were right then, but that doesnt mean hes the right guy now.
He's been unable to solve any of the issues this season & after a £400m spree thats unacceptable. No point signing more players for him if he cant coach them.
@AnythingLFC_@_pauljoyce They'll point to "Data" as the reason for backing him, but the data doesnt account for the fact that his man-management seems to be dreadful and he's not been able to solve any of the issues this season. He was perfect for us last season but that doesnt mean hes the right guy now
@Watch_LFC These are the same people who signed injury prone Isak (vanity signing), frimpong & wirtz. They also felt Guehi & Semenyo werent worth it. How on earth can FSG be so naive to entrust them with more money? Especially when they'll only be at the club for 1 more year.
@WilsonCoxLFC My concern is the people who signed Isak (vanity signing) & felt Semenyo & Guehi werent worth it are the same people who think Slot is still the right man. I think FSG are nervous that if they sack Slot, Hughes will walk. Perhaps that's for the best now too...
@BBCMOTD What about the ability to coach? Hes got premier league winning players + isak, wirtz & ekitike and he's not been able to solve any issues this season at all. Not even the basics. Why should he be trusted with another transfer window? Anfield will be mutinous next week.
@DaveOCKOP Its quite unbelievable how bad this team is. What has slot & his staff managed to coach into this team this season? No confidence we'll see off Brentford next week. Slot needs to go.
@TheRedmenTV@David_Ornstein My worry is that this is the same LFC decision makers who felt pursuing Guehi in January was "bad business". So arrogant & stubborn.
@thisisanfield This means that either his messaging & tactics are not coming across or the players are no longer listening to him. Both of these scenarios make him at fault.
@PriceJ_85@henrywinter He made 32 appearances for us in klopps last season and only 6 last season. Despite that he scored vital goals including the winner against PSG first leg.
@DaveOCKOP Agreed. I think Salah's comments on the drop in standards once he departs come from what he is seeing around him. I dont want big names, i want people prepared to run & die on the pitch. Slot's style suggests he prefers technicians so im not convinced we're going to get them.
@DaveOCKOP Please can we just end the season now so we can accept the inevitable & move on. This is beyond pathetic. If it were a wounded animal, you'd have euthanised it.
Unlikely & interesting fact: Liverpool are actually the current champions of England...
...how? The drop off from 12 months ago should be a case study.
