The CBC has pulled journalist Neil Herland off the air and is investigating him for filming a mob with megaphones screaming "You're going to Hell!" at Jews like him as they entered a Toronto synagogue service on Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the year. He posted it on his own social media.

The CBC doesn't want Canadian antisemitism documented for the public to see. They refuse to report most attacks on Jewish Canadians, but broadcast frequent stories about "Islamophobia".

In Canada, study permits are typically issued for the exact length of your academic program plus an extra 90 days, while work permits are usually issued based on the duration of your job offer or specific program type (ranging from a few months up to 3 years).

So if we're not issuing new permits, things should start returning to the way they were in 2021/2022 very soon.
