Donald Trump Sworn In as 47th U.S. President

Amid thunderous applause in the rotunda of the Capitol, President Trump announced his intention to sign a series of executive orders to halt illegal immigration, deport illegal immigrants, designate drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, approve oil drilling, and enact tariffs on foreign nations.

He also announced that it will henceforth be the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders, male and female. The era of diversity, equity and inclusion is over, he said.
