In the final stages of working on their products, the trainees continue to manufacture their prototypes using the technical skills they acquired through the entrepreneurship and plastic recycling training program, implemented by Three Tracks for Development in partnership with Tihama Organization for Human Rights and Development, and funded by the United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA).

As part of the training program activities, the participants conducted community awareness sessions in Hays and Al-Khokha districts on the importance of plastic recycling and its role in protecting the environment and creating sustainable economic opportunities.

جانب من التدريبات العملية التي يتلقاها المتدربين ضمن مشروع "برنامج ريادة الأعمال لإعادة تدوير البلاستيك: تمكين الشباب وتعزيز الاستدامة البيئية"، لتعلم كيفية تشغيل واستخدام المعدات الخاصة بعملية تدوير البلاستيك، إلى جانب التعرف على خطوات الفرز والمعالجة ومعايير السلامة المهنية.

يهدف هذا التدريب إلى بناء مهارات تقنية عملية تمكّن المشاركين من تطبيق ما يتعلمونه على أرض الواقع، وتحويل النفايات البلاستيكية إلى منتجات قابلة للاستخدام ضمن نماذج عمل مستدامة.

يأتي هذا النشاط ضمن أنشطة المشروع المنفذ من قبل منظمة ثري تراكس للتنمية بالتعاون مع المنظمة التهامية لحقوق الإنسان والتنمية، وبدعم من بعثة الأمم المتحدة لدعم اتفاق الحديدة (أونمها).

A glimpse of the practical training sessions received by participants as part of the “Entrepreneurship Program for Plastic Recycling: Empowering Youth and Promoting Environmental Sustainability,” where they learn how to operate and use the equipment involved in the plastic recycling process, in addition to understanding sorting and processing steps and occupational safety standards.

This training aims to build hands-on technical skills that enable participants to apply what they learn in real-life settings and transform plastic waste into usable products within sustainable business models.

This activity is part of the project implemented by Three Tracks for Development Organization in cooperation with Al-Tehamia Organization for Human Rights and Development, and supported by the United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA).

In an atmosphere filled with youthful dialogue and open discussion, the Youth Cultural Salon was held in Mukalla, organized by the infraDev Development Foundation in partnership with Three Tracks for Development and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation – Yemen Office.

شهدت الجلسة التدريبية الثالثة التي تنفذها منظمة ثري تراكس للتنمية بالتعاون مع المنظمة التهامية لحقوق الإنسان والتنمية وبدعم من بعثة الأمم المتحدة لدعم اتفاق الحديدة (أونمها)، تركيزًا على مهارات أساسية في بناء وتطوير المشاريع الريادية.
تعرّف المشاركون خلال الجلسة على دراسة السوق، وأساليب تحليل احتياجات المستهلك، إضافة إلى استراتيجيات التسويق المتعلقة بالمنتج والسعر والترويج. كما تضمنت الجلسة تطبيقات عملية وأنشطة جماعية ساعدت المتدربين على تقييم أفكار مشاريعهم وتطويرها بطريقة أكثر وضوحًا واحترافية.
يواصل المشروع إعداد الشباب والنساء للانتقال إلى مراحل أكثر تقدمًا في تطوير مشروعاتهم وتحويل أفكارهم إلى نماذج قابلة للتنفيذ في الواقع.
The third training session, implemented by Three Tracks for Development in cooperation with Al-Tehamia Organization for Human Rights and Development and supported by the United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA), focused on essential skills for building and developing entrepreneurial projects.
During this session, participants learned about market research, methods for analyzing consumer needs, and marketing strategies related to product, pricing, and promotion. The session also included practical exercises and group activities that helped trainees assess and refine their project ideas with greater clarity and professionalism.
The project continues to prepare youth and women to progress toward more advanced stages of project development and to transform their ideas into practical, implementable models.

في هذه الجلسة تعرّف المشاركون على مكوّنات خطة المشروع وكيفية إعدادها، إضافة إلى خطوات جمع المعلومات اللازمة لبناء خطة عمل واضحة وقابلة للتطبيق، مع التركيز على خضرنة المشروع ودمج البعد البيئي في أفكارهم الريادية لضمان استدامة تأثيرها.
شهدت الجلسة تفاعلًا ونقاشات جماعية زادت من فهم المتدربين لآليات التخطيط وريادة الأعمال، بما يساعدهم على تطوير مشاريع خضراء ومبتكرة بطريقة منهجية وأكثر احترافية.
A glimpse from the second training session implemented by Three Tracks for Development Organization in Al-Khokhah District, in cooperation with Al-Tehamia Organization for Human Rights and Development, as part of the “Entrepreneurship Program for Plastic Recycling: Empowering Youth and Promoting Environmental Sustainability” funded by the United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA).
In this session, participants explored the components of a project plan and how to develop it, in addition to learning the steps for gathering the information needed to build a clear and applicable business plan. The session also highlighted the importance of greening the project, integrating environmental considerations into entrepreneurial ideas to ensure sustainable impact.
The session witnessed active engagement and group discussions that enhanced participants’ understanding of planning and entrepreneurship mechanisms, supporting them in developing innovative and eco-friendly projects in a more structured and professional way.

انطلقت الأحد الجلسة التدريبية الأولى، ضمن مشروع "برنامج ريادة الأعمال لإعادة تدوير البلاستيك: تمكين الشباب وتعزيز الاستدامة البيئية" والتي ركّزت على فهم منظومة إعادة التدوير، وآليات التعامل مع البلاستيك، وتحديد مسارات العمل التي سيخوضها المشاركون خلال الأيام القادمة.
شهد اليوم تفاعلًا مميزًا من الشباب والنساء، وحماسًا كبيرًا تجاه اكتساب مهارات جديدة تسهم في بناء مشاريع مبتكرة وصديقة للبيئة في مجتمعاتهم.
The first training session kicked off on Sunday as part of the “Entrepreneurship Program for Plastic Recycling: Empowering Youth and Promoting Environmental Sustainability.”
The session focused on understanding the recycling system, learning how to handle different types of plastic, and outlining the work paths that participants will follow in the coming days.
The day witnessed notable engagement from both young men and women, along with great enthusiasm to acquire new skills that will help them develop innovative, eco-friendly projects within their communities.

In the presence of a delegation from the United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA) and local authority officials, Three Tracks for Development Organization, in cooperation with Al-Tehamia Organization for Human Rights and Development, launched the “Entrepreneurship Program for Plastic Recycling: Empowering Youth and Promoting Environmental Sustainability” in Al-Khokhah District – Al-Hudaydah Governorate.

في إطار التحضيرات لتنفيذ مشروع ريادة الأعمال لإعادة تدوير البلاستيك، نفذت منظمة ثري تراكس للتنمية وبعثة الأمم المتحدة لدعم اتفاق الحديدة (UNMHA) زيارة ميدانية إلى مقر الشريك المحلي المنظمة التهامية لحقوق الإنسان والتنمية، للاطلاع على جاهزية الموقع وملاءمته لمتطلبات المشروع.
خلال الزيارة، تم استعراض مراحل التنفيذ والفئات المستهدفة، ومناقشة آلية المتابعة الدورية لضمان سير العمل بالشكل المطلوب.

As part of the preparations for implementing the Plastic Recycling Entrepreneurship Project, Three Tracks Organization and the United Nations Mission to Support the Hodeidah Agreement (UNMHA) conducted a field visit to the premises of the local partner, Tehama Organization for Human Rights and development, to review site readiness and alignment with project requirements.
The visit included a briefing on implementation phases, target groups, and agreed mechanisms for regular follow-up.

Three Tracks for Development is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA) to implement the project “Entrepreneurship Program for Plastic Recycling: Empowering Youth and Promoting Environmental Sustainability” in the Districts Hays and Al-khawkhah in Al-Hudaydah Governorate.
The project aims to empower youth and women through training in plastic recycling and green entrepreneurship, and by establishing collaborative workspaces and community-led collection points, which enhance income opportunities and reduce plastic pollution.
