From #fallen tree to final resting place.
This has truly been the most #heartwarming#project we have had the privilege of being asked to do.
Thank you for trusting us to help provide a uniquely #Exmoor#goodbye.
WE DID IT!
30miles of the toughest #exmoor terrain. The team did an outstanding job, a piece of our souls has been left on the trail. An experience we will never forget.
There is still time to donate if you can.

#Customerpicoftheweek! We love seeing where our #timber ends up.
βSo pleased with it, it will be a shame to cover it with plants nowβ
This timber has travelled a whole 20 miles, from #woods to #sawmill to #installation. If you have an idea for your garden, please do get in touch
Today, the #brandingiron arrived so thought we would get the good olβ hot box out to give it a try!
Filled to the brim with our #limitededition#charcoal, nice and toastie!
Waste not want not, Mrs Boss used the old girl to whip up an #Exmoor style #BBQ for lunch!
Bear Valley Co has very kindly donated to the cause! Lumberjack tees, printed up and ready to go for #theexmoorperambulation.
Naturally, we wanted to show our thanks so have created a dedicated shrine that is now our Sawmill mascot!

This Sunday the Sawmill will be opening itβs gates to allow The Bike Shed to set up a feed station for all the willing #cyclists for The Smuggler Cycle Sportive
We love to #supportlocal businesses and #charities where we can
Peter from our Dunster National Park Centre #Exmoor is training for the @ChannelEventsUK#ExmoorPerambulation when he's walking 30 miles in aid of CareMoor. You can sponsor him here https://t.co/vqXhM5RnLL
We are hosting a #volunteer day in June. We will welcome all those who would like to have an #active role within the project from #woodlandsurveys and data collation, to active control.
Get in touch either via email or phone to find out more.

One thing we always enjoy finding out when people collect their #timber, is what itβs being used for. This week weβve had some go for a #restoration of a Victorian pool house and to reinforce a fence.
The possibilities are endless!
We have seen rapid #treedeath over a 6 month period on #exmoor and the risk of injury is staggering
Some of these #ash are not worth #lives.
A plea from all us tree folk in the industry - please seek advice and deal with your #ashtrees
