It's actually not stained glass! Channahon Junior High students were doing an art project involving a special see-through paint and Mr Offerman saw that and wanted to try it himself. This artwork has been hanging in the 2nd floor window at the Branch for over 30 years.

@mr1llinois Hi! Thanks for taking an interest! This piece was donated to the library by the current Village of Minooka Mayor, Ric Offerman in the early 1990s, when we opened the Minooka Branch of Three Rivers Public Library District.

The weather is looking to be beautiful this weekend! Enjoy your Easter holiday. Both library locations will be closed on Sunday, April 4. We'll reopen on Monday, April 5 with new Spring hours! Beginning April 5, both libraries will be be open until 8pm Monday -Thursday.
