Hello Guys, Gals and Non-Binary Pals! This is the start of what is likely to be a whole mess of threaded meanderings that I'm going to be calling a #designdiary for my #ForgedintheDark love letter to street-level superhero comics.
@YoDanno The fearlessness is something I always felt got ignored. These are people who will walk right up to a dragon and start a casual conversation. There was a character class in the fifth age game that was all about talking to ghosts. Way cooler than kleptomania.
@EricVulgaris My wife's car for some reason prioritizes my phone over hers, so when we get in together it flips all the settings on her and scoots her seat back four inches.
The future is annoying
@john_harper Back when I lived in Philly I used to walk to work on the sidewalk they put the medallions for all the Philadelphia International artists into. It always felt like walking over the sound of my dad's workshop.
@MarkMeredith "We just got historically rolled in the midterms and it's pretty clear demographic trends are going to bury us if we don't fix our message. Quick, wheel out some TMZ shit from seven years ago."
@Rschooley This has to be his handlers, right? Every couple of months someone convinced him to do the boring politician thing, it sucks and everyone says it sucks, he rages and cuts a wrestling promo the next day
@SKenson@boymonster Gen X has always been fairly conservative. I'm right on the line between X and millennial and back when I was on Facebook you could very easily tell which cousins were older or younger than me based on what their political hobby horses were. I blame Reagan.
@TheOtherTracy Seems pretty great for that. I used to play Arena quite a bit a year or so ago, I'm just an old tourney grinder and if I can't banter with my opponents my mindset can get pretty dark. Wasn't good for my mental health
@TheOtherTracy Part of the reason I don't play Arena is how much losing the ability to socially interact with your opponents pushes you to view them as obstacles rather than people
Not a vibe I want in my magic
