I am a regular commuter from Shamirpet ORR Exit 7 to Gachibowli Exit 19. Every day during my commute to the office, I notice the situation shown in the videos attached. I hope, like me, you have also observed this serious traffic hazard in the video.
I believe this is one of the major reasons for accidents on the ORR, along with drivers changing lanes without using indicators. At speeds of up to 120 km/h, it becomes extremely dangerous for cars when heavy rigid vehicles (trucks) occupy the last two lanes, which are primarily meant for faster-moving vehicles.
I sincerely request the Respected DGP Telangana and Commissioner, HMDA to take the necessary action to restrict heavy rigid vehicles from entering the last two lanes on the ORR. This simple measure could help prevent many accidents and save lives.
In another attached video, recorded on 13 August 2026 at 10:35 AM, I observed the driver of a police vehicle continuously using a mobile phone while driving. If a police driver is seen doing this, what message does it send to the general public? Road safety rules should be followed by everyone, especially those responsible for enforcing them.
I hope you will take these concerns seriously and take the necessary action to improve safety for all ORR commuters.

So Hyderabad is the only city in India that is doing urban development right by unlocking FSI and FAR. However, its biggest flaw is prioritizing car-centric development by building flyovers, taking space away from pedestrians, and widening roads. This only leads to more traffic; instead, it should be encouraging and investing in public transport.

4) Chinnaswamy, Bengaluru

Very true..that's a major cause. 2 years back situation was different as there was strictness on ORR by patrolling vehicles. Now, no one cares and almost all the time lorries and buses drive in the wrong lanes.

Yes, let’s chop more trees, bulldoze forests & murder anything green to build flyovers and filling in concrete everywhere.

Am saying this again…if anyone touched a single tree in Cubbon Park entire Bangalore would have been on the streets, we are least bothered in Hyderabad.

@CYBTRAFFIC Thanks for these updates but what are the authorities doing to reduce traffic at this stretch...lot of bottlenecks including the two big rotaries at Nanakramguda and Khajaguda side which are the biggest hurdles..and then narrowing down of ORR near L&T towers.its a known issue.

I was in same coach. This person is lying, he was touching a fellow passenger who is minor girl inappropriately.

Which was noticed by other passengers and they beaten him up. Informed police too. Once police came he started religion card. Me being a Muslim i beat him twice with chappal
