@zellieda Find this take so weird, especially in the queer community we make friends and find chosen family based on common ground and shared experience and not age and it's valuable to have older friends for guidance and mentorship and you end up like older/younger sibling dynamic.
@vmpirednp@AmazingPhil You can mix it with hot water to make a kind of gravy like drink. Not my thing but I think it's still a thing in some stadiums to drink in winter to keep warm while watching football.
@AnaLadedie@highashoped + feel like it is linked to wanting to camp at the front and film the whole thing and not move the entire time rather than dancing/enjoying the show. Go in the pit for a bit to dance, stand at the side for a rest while you sing along etc. Gigs I've been to recently are so stiff.
@AnaLadedie@highashoped This. It is such a strange modern invention. In my day we just turned up to gigs when the doors opened and went in? Sometimes you queue for a bit but everyone gets in? You watch support/go to the bar/toilet/check out merch tables so move around the room anyway
@IlyasCigarette Adam Driver sketch called Career Day is the only SNL thing that I've ever found funny because he is just so into it and so absurd and everyone else is cracking but he is locked TF in.
@sisterdanscig I just went on holiday and found out my phone is too old to be able to use e-SIM :( but my partner's isn't so he got Saily and I made him use the code.
@JarsWoah@admirehowell Yes it reminded me a lot of silly British dating shows where people don't take themselves too seriously and I feel like that might not translate to some people that are taking it too literally
