“Yyyyeah!”
She returns the squeeze, perhaps slightly harder than intended, and stands up to run into the house.
She leaves behind a trail of– something, but she doesn’t seem to notice.
“I’m hungry!”
Little bodies, skittering around her. She presses herself back against the wall, her hands on her ears, trying to silence a thousand whiny voices.
“Shhhhhush! Shut up! Fucking shut up!”
She hisses back, but her grin remains. She wouldn’t hurt her friend’s friends. Not Logan’s, at least. She’s not stupid.
Her hands touch hers, full of mud and dried blood.
“Nah, I j-j-just needed some time alone, b-back home”.
Alligators — Sid and Nancy. They hiss, as if telepathic. Friends.
Logan bends, as if too coo and coax over a cute little rodent.
“I did. Thought you up and died. Silly me, huh? It’s good to see you.”
She shrugs, chuckling, every movement exaggerated.
Crawling towards Logan, her eyes briefly flicker toward the giant lizard-thing. What are they called, again?
No matter. She’s too happy to care.
“Aroooound. Did ya m-miss me?”
More squinting, stepping further out — avoiding a massive hole where an alligator seethes just beneath in the murky water.
“Oh, fuck.”
A slow grin curling at her lips like paper catching fire. She lowers the shotgun.
“Where you been, little critter?”
Her head moves up at incredible speed, black eyes briefly flashing in the light before they look human again.
A too wide, overly toothed smile smears across her dirty lips.
“F-f-friend!”
STARTER FOR @NORDICAXEMAN —;
The bar is loud, but not loud enough for her. She can still hear the click-clack of her teeth, bent over the trash and eating some cigarette butts outside in the alleyway.
Pale fingers scratch and dig, looking for something else.
She’s hungry.
