The right wing will go to terrible lengths to protect their guy Epstein.
I wonder why.
Beating up a woman for wearing a "release the files" top.
And Trump cheerleads.
Imagine MAGA being the “Party That Protects Women”…
Then beats the shit out of a woman,
At a Trump rally on National Television…
While the President encourages the beating,
While making fun of the woman’s weight…
And MAGA cheers “USA…USA…”
How The Fuck Did We Get Here.
This guy utterly dismantles the populist politics of Reform and Restore in 90 seconds. It’s actually quite beautiful.
Take decades of deep-rooted problems in Britain and convince people that a relatively tiny proportion of the population is responsible for all of them. Housing, the NHS, crime. Blame illegal migrants for everything.
Suddenly, you don’t need credible solutions to the housing crisis, NHS waiting lists or crime. You just need increasingly extreme policies on immigration.
And by the time people realise you never had meaningful answers to the vast majority of Britain’s problems, you’re already in power, handing out tax cuts to your donors.
Staying objective as always, @BBCNews
Putting a Farage "if I were in charge" fantasy above the actual government on the 1 o'clock news.
Do your journalists not get tired of being PR for demagogues?
There is one hell of a cover up taking place in The UK right now.
Lola Salem, a 33 year old French-Jewish Oxford University Professor, girlfriend of self proclaimed 'proud Zionist' Michael Gove, 20+ years her senior, has had CP found in her possession . . . and the media is SILENT.
I cannot possibly imagine why such a despicable scandal would be supressed, or who would have the powers to do so?
The Epstein class are alive and well people.
. @GlennJacobsTN You're a carny and a huckster of the worst order.
Made your name doing fake fighting, now fake politics.
You're a disgrace and your state is a backwards cesspit.
If you think Trump is great, you must really hate your country.
Good post.
Tennessee is clearly a terribly governed state.
Country music can only do so much heavy lifting.
Pike committed a hideous crime, so the state tries to match her. That's not humanity, it's lowest common denominator.
They botched another execution in Tennessee.
They stuck the prisoner full of seven different syringes, but she didn't die. She just experienced extreme suffering, minute after excruciating minute, before eventually losing consciousness.
Her name is Christa Pike. As of this writing, she is still alive.
Pike committed a horrific violent crime as a young woman after a life of nightmarish abuse. She was raped when she was eleven, attempted suicide when she was twelve, and was being physically and sexually abused by her mother's boyfriend in the months leading up to her arrest.
And now she is on a respirator in a hospital as doctors fight to save her life, presumably so that the state of Tennessee can try to kill her again.
It's all so absurd. People are so cruel to each other.
We inflict pain upon our neighbors, and our neighbors pass that pain on to other neighbors, and it just goes on and on like that until one day you're watching a woman strapped to a gurney flailing around in anguish as panicked executioners plunge needle after needle into her body to stop her outlawed heartbeat.
We are bound to each other so intimately like that. A rapist was abused by his father, who was abused by his uncle, who was abused by his priest, who was abused by his teacher, generation after generation of human trauma stretching back to our evolutionary ancestors frantically struggling to survive predation in the middle of the food chain. A baton passed from hand to hand through the sands of time in a vast relay marathon of suffering.
The course of my life has been directly influenced by my abusers, and by their abusers, and by the people who abused them, and it is only by sheer chance that this ancient stream of samsara carried me to be typing words on a laptop in Melbourne instead of fighting for my life after a botched execution in Tennessee.
You cannot make a deep study of trauma and human dysfunction and still sustain a belief in the death penalty. Once you've explored your inner depths enough to understand how many factors have contributed to your life being the way it is and caused your mind to operate the way it operates, you can't really claim that anyone had sufficient control over the way their life unfolded to justify killing them for their crimes.
You can still form judgements about people regarding who you want to spend time with and form relationships with, but even in the most chaotic and destructive among us you can still see a fundamental innocence. I can keep my distance from wild crocodiles without believing they are evil. We can still immobilize dangerous people to protect our society without assigning ourselves the right to take their life.
As humanity moves more deeply into consciousness, this insight will become more and more brightly illuminated, and we will begin healing our trauma so that the relay baton of suffering stops with us. The vindictive, judgmental scales will fall from our eyes, and there will be a widespread recognition of the fact that, underneath all the savagery and sadism and exploitation and abuse, we were always ultimately just confused and damaged children stumbling through a giant universe that we did not understand.
Gutted. He was a great worker, and one of the few modern wrestlers who gave off that legit, hard as nails, aura.
He was excellent as a singles wrestler, but Death Triangle was both an amazing name and fucking great tag team.

Rachel is a friend of mine.
She continues to get abuse, death threats, horrific racist abuse in hers, her husbands, her kids and her MOTHERS account inboxes.
Mass targeted harassment.
But remember folks.
They just have 'legitimate concerns and we aren't racist.'
@TherealNihal@edsheeran Maybe so. I don't know him at all.
But this was an opportunity for a massive, massive star to push back against sex offender Robert Kraft. And the promoters if need be.
Ed is the talent, not them. It's disappointing.
