@xvrmdf@JamiePastore9 Yeah or in central Edinburgh where a lot of them are listed or in conservation areas where you'd be up against it to get planning
@alexwickham Other defence financing ideas, like cutting welfare? Would make sense having someone in the tent with the moral authority to make that argument
@John_Stepek@DamianPudner If you get a new leader from the left I think Reeves might end up staying (depressingly). Similar to Jeremy Hunt staying on after Sunak took over to keep a lid on gilt yields.
@Steven_Swinford I personally would not be taking the fight to Farage, arguably the UKs most effective politician on the EU, were I the most unpopular PM in history and famed for being bad at communicating, but each to their own.
@alexramage1 @pursuitofprog Iβm actually pro EV, just itβs a typically disingenuous approach from Khan and will invariably be followed by some sort of SUV levy
@ScotRugbyNews@ROB_Robireland Premature. Could easily come away with no points from the next two and finish 4th. Beating (statistically) the worst Welsh team in history and England enough to save him? Won't call for him to go until those games are done but anything less than 1/2 wins and he should walk
@aswren@SymondsSally Ironically, I think that Reform's biggest asset is also its biggest weakness. Farage is marmite and is always going to have a ceiling on his popularity- some people that you need to win over will just never countenance voting for him.
@CasinoCapital I maintain the only way this gets fixed is by making it an argument about helping the NHS. I'd say 50% of the doctors I know are, or actively looking at going, less than full time, particularly as the new pay deals push more of them into the Β£100k+ death zone.
@John_Stepek@xvrmdf There was a write-up about 2 years ago on Value Investors Club comparing it to NVR which made Norbert Lou a load of cash. I think they think it is the same play. Little do they know how dysfunctional UK housebuilding is, let alone UK social housing
@Riccardino999 Ignoring the geology (which I've got no idea about). My understanding of Vaca Muerta is that the infra costs are enormous. Presume the risk of going back to a Peronist post Millei just makes the whole play not worth it.
