@Hurley1214 Looks like a clinic where their therapists see 20-40 patients a day, at least that's what they are known for around here.

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

@chadcookpt @JOSPT this doesn't fit my bias. Manips are also a "sexier" intervention.

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

@UberPT @Myopain4u Probably could accomplish without the needles, but I suppose there are courses to promote. https://t.co/BwSLpS73dd

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

@Myopain4u so her MMT improved? What is so special about this?

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

@NAIOMT whaaaaat??

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

@dcpoult @Retlouping @mthomaspt can confirm, blocked.

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

@mthomaspt if you want to
be needled see an acupuncturist, manipulated see a chiro, massaged see a massage therapist...

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

@mikereinold @NoosaPainClinic probably best stay at the abstract, if you dig deeper pelvises are being put into alignment 😂

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

@EIPConsult @MikeMakher I should edit that to say chiro/acupuncturist, same txs with diff. explaination

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

@EIPConsult @MikeMakher or you could call yourself an osteopractor aka a PT who thinks they are a chiro but with diff. rationale of effect

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

@MVP_DPT @DestinyHebert @AmsiInfo I reproduced someone's appendicitis pain with palpation once. I failed in treating this condition.

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

Hey look at all these weekend con-ed posts. A bunch of physios forgetting how to critically think, rather poking people with needles.

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

@AussieLouie @Jerry_DurhamPT @NoosaPainClinic @timonealpt @CWrightPhysio @DerekGriffin86 @FionaWilson_ Why should we be "believing" in interventions? When can we implement science based recs and get past our beliefs?

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

@Retlouping @naiomt I'm sure braille readers can offer valid proof of what they read, can SIJ palpators do the same?

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

RT @Retlouping: @ThrowawayPhysio Gone but not forgotten lol 😂

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

@Retlouping looks like her comment was deleted. Why I wonder?

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

@Retlouping Unfortunate "con"-ed companies still peddle this:
https://t.co/s0WWz4pim8

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

@kvenere @Retlouping it's a good thing we are getting doctorate degrees to promote this pseudoscience.

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

@HopkinsMedicine article offers no references supporting effectiveness. n=1.

[ThrowawayPhysio @ThrowawayPhysio]

Is "evidence based dry needling" misleading? How strong is the research supporting this?
