@ciggie_stew@swirlcals There is no such thing as “tone”. Your muscles get bigger or smaller. If you’re new to working out, it will probably still grow if you’re in a reasonable deficit. But since you’re starving to death, probably not.

You can build muscle in a caloric deficit pretty effectively if you’re new to working out. Ab workouts do not target stomach fat, they build your ab muscles.
