I’m told Columbus Crew 2 head coach Federico Higuaín is the coach at the center of the incident referenced in today’s PSRA statement.

The incident occurred during Crew 2’s match against Huntsville City FC on Aug. 23.

Higuaín subsequently served a two-match suspension, missing matches against Chicago Fire II on Aug. 30 and Philadelphia Union II on Sept. 4.

According to the PSRA, the coach squeezed a female official’s hand and refused to let go after being told to stop three times before making the remark, “Don’t forget, this is a man’s game.”
