@steipete The screenshot shows a source code file from swift-testing, which implies the code from that package may be still present despite you removing the dependency. I’d try clearing your entire build directory to flush out any stale package modules/libraries.
@steipete Thanks! And do you have a Swift package dependency on the swiftlang/swift-testing repo?
In general you shouldn’t need one since it’s built in to Xcode, but if you do, it may be out-of-date and missing bug fixes in this area.
I love, love, love improvements like this. I count 13 expectations with XCTest versus just two with #SwiftTesting. This is an awesome session by @throwspace: https://t.co/QcDwX6tPqq #WWDC24
@onevcat Thanks for trying out parameterized tests in Swift Testing! Can you elaborate on the problem you're encountering in Xcode? Either here, or by filing a Feedback
@younata Sounds like you got it working, but @aikoniv is right: if you end up supporting error handling at this layer, the methods' completion blocks' type encodings need to include an NSError param. And +1 for using +methodSignatureForSelector: regardless
Xcode 14 now runs test targets in parallel (when enabled), which can significantly speed up execution for multi-target suites. Check “Author fast and reliable tests for Xcode Cloud” on Friday to learn more!

Three weeks ago, I had a miscarriage. I was six weeks pregnant. I live in Texas, a state that has effectively banned abortions.
A thread about what it is to cease to be pregnant in a state where abortions are banned:
If I can offer an observation, 20+ years into my software career:
Long term, your kindness and helpfulness are vastly more impactful than your technical skills.
People will remember how you made them feel. They're much less likely to remember that awesome function you wrote.
It's true folx. I and many others at🍎don't have degrees, or even related degrees. My manager has a German degree and another co-worker has a pro writing degree. I'm a music school drop out.
The feature in question is "Test Again without Building". @basthomas and I were hanging out on the internet one day when he mentioned how much he wanted it. Tired of hearing this from folx, I looked into the work necessary. By the end of the week it was ready to go!
The unique joys of saving time while developing Xcode due to a feature you publicly implemented and shipped in Xcode.
Btw, if this sounds like something you'd love to do, we're hiring. 😎

@CareDotCom I need to cancel my https://t.co/2VWn0wtHeV subscription but cannot log in, and password reset isn't working. I sent email, no response. Web help requires a login which I don't have, and your 1-800 number says the same thing before hanging up. Need a human!
As a software developer, you may be called upon to perform some of these tasks in your career.
How well a CS degree prepares you for these tasks (and whether it even should prepare you for these) is left as an exercise to the reader.
