Did the Celtics get better? That’s really the point when you do this level of trade it’s either you’re bottoming out for draft capital or you’re making a culture shift to get better. I don’t think they did enough for the second part and they sure as hell are too good to bottom out. So really they dumped money and become middling with hopes they can make a run in the post season.
