@ProudSocialist Elon has a ton of money, but he didn't take anything from me earning it. In fact, he has made my life better.
Socialists are stoking envy which leaves us all diminished.
Myself and 24 other members have signed a letter pledging to vote NO on any Senate bills unless SAVE America is passed.
Now, the Senate is sending a housing package to the House, and to honor my pledge I will oppose it unless SAVE America is attached.
The Senate cannot keep obstructing President Trump’s agenda while ignoring election integrity. I call on my fellow colleagues to stand firm and honor their pledge.
I'm not troubled by the provisions of Texas SB 2420, beyond thinking it's more complicated than it needs to be.
Here's a simpler scheme instead: Children should need their parents' permission for every app they download. That puts the responsibility where it belongs — on the parents.
I also wouldn't object to extending parental controls to the websites kids can access.
As a parent, I like the idea of checking ages before allowing access to certain kinds of online content. As a free speech advocate, I also believe anonymous online speech is vital.
It’s possible to have both. How about requiring ID only for age-sensitive content? There may be cases where identity validation is needed, but mostly no. The default should always be that no ID is required.
The SAVE Act is the single most important thing on Congress' plate. In his first term, @tedcruz would have been all in.
For myself, there will be no more donations to Republican candidates or other Republican causes until the Senate passes this.
The SAVE America Act would help save America by restoring election security, which has gotten dangerously weak in recent years
Those who disagree with my support for the bill or the aggressive strategy I’m proposing for getting it passed are free to do so
But I’m not stopping
@Osint613 In my country, Carlson is widely recognised as a loon. Quoting him damages your credibility.
My mouse is hovering over the unfollow button. I generally find your account useful, but not so useful that I’m willing to put up with Carlson’s wackiness.
@Osint613 I don't give this report any credence. You are naive to amplify anything (1) from the NYT, (2) without direct attribution, (3) that has the effect of introducing FUD. I give it < 10% of accurately reflecting the US government's position.
@Bumgarner4HD63 Integrity is important. Kind of like elections. Baseball is right to keep Rose out of the Hall.
On the other hand, things are rotten in Lubbock, including Sorsby, Tech, Judge Curry, and Dustin Burrows.
@XFreeze Is Elon trying to turn Europe against ASML? Will we soon learn that SpaceX/xAI, or Tesla is acquiring one of the U.S. photolithography startups?
