If the goal is to be the best athlete you can be, don’t waste time on things that won’t get you the most bang for your buck
It’s the simple things that get you the most results:
Sprint 3x a week
Plyos
Rest/recover
Eat right
Lift heavy and fast
Compete

Your athletes won’t be fully ready by the first meet.
Many teams will have 2 weeks of practice and then a meet immediately.
DO NOT put kids in three events expecting great results.
Build up. Forget the points.
Play the long game.
