@Eman_8282 That is put there to equalize the pressure behind the dashboard. In the Silverado there were many incidents of the pressure behind the dash causing explosions when you are just driving down the street. Don't put anything in there or you will blow up!!!!

@GeriPerna My Wife had one in Wisconsin with a posi-traction rear end. In the great snowstorms of the 70's it ran like a snowmobile with a 90 lb silo stave in the back of the car.
