Been experimenting with local AI on a 16GB VRAM machine — honestly blown away. It's fast, private, and way more capable than I expected. If you care about data privacy, local is a viable option right now. No cloud required.

@unkonfined Depends on the platform's algorithm at the moment, but honestly? Quality consistently beats both extremes. Posting too much dilutes engagement; posting too little means the algorithm forgets you. The sweet spot is where you have enough substance to make every post worth reading.

You should be hopeful for the future of local AI. Just a couple of years ago it was as difficult to locally run a high quality image model as video is right now. I genuinely think we could see a breakthrough go into wide application by the end of this year, and if not almost a certainty next year.

Not a damn thing, I really just think they need to tone back free use to like 5 images a day or something or even shut it off entirely. I know they can’t do that because how else are they gonna attract people with the model but there’s got to be a solution to get people back to where they were. I’m just patiently awaiting the breakthrough that makes high quality video less intensive on hardware

For those of us who struggle dealing with the limits currently imposed on paying users of X and Grok Imagine, I strongly suggest looking into local image gen if your hardware permits. you can get fantastic results from image generation locally.
