I sincerely thank Platinum Alloys Private Limited, Bhalukpong, for contributing ₹15 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in support of flood relief and rehabilitation efforts in Arunachal Pradesh.
Happy Birthday to the Apostle of Peace, the Champion of Truth and non violence - the Great 14th Dalai Lama.
May Your Holiness have good health, long life and continue to illuminate hearts and guide humanity towards love, harmony and mutual respect.
A massive congratulations to the outstanding teams of #GajrajCorps, #SelaWarriors, and NIMAS for successfully scaling Bajrang Peak (5,583m) under the banner of #OperationArunoday! This incredible feat was achieved by traversing the historic and challenging Thingbu route, a journey that began just days ago on June 26th when this pioneering civil-military expedition was first flagged off.
From securing our borders to enabling development, this initiative demonstrates how civil-military synergy can transform remote frontiers into hubs of responsible adventure tourism.
My best wishes to everyone who made this remarkable and historic mission a success.

A truly outstanding gesture by the Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service Officers’ Association.
The Association has contributed ₹10 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to support our people affected by the recent floods.
My sincere appreciation to every member of the Association for this remarkable act of generosity.
A remarkable example of last-mile governance in our remote border areas.
My appreciation to the Tawang District Administration, along with the Gorkhas and the medical fraternity of Gajraj Corps, for organising welfare outreach for graziers at Chuna High Ground (14,000ft), promoting yak culture, and leading tourism promotion and a cleanliness drive at Gongkar La Lake (15,600ft), Mago-Chuna.
These initiatives embody the spirit of service, civil-military partnership, and commitment to our border communities. Well done to everyone involved.

A commendable initiative by the Gorkha Rifles under the aegis of the Gajraj Corps, in collaboration with the Civil Administration, Thingbu, on World Environment Day.
Planting 1,000 saplings of Rhododendron, Blue Pine and Deodar near the sacred Chumi Gyatse Holy Waterfalls at an altitude of 12,000 ft is a meaningful contribution towards environmental conservation and ecological sustainability. The participation of tourists, local residents and soldiers reflects a shared commitment to preserving the pristine Himalayan ecosystem for future generations.
Such collective efforts truly embody the spirit of “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.”
On the occasion of a tree plantation drive at Government Secondary School, Chimpu, I had the opportunity to interact with the students, teachers, and school authorities.
The visit also provided an opportunity to hear firsthand the concerns and grievances of the school. The State Government has taken note of the issues raised and will work towards addressing them.
On World No Tobacco Day, I commend the Sela Warriors of the Indian Army under Gajraj Corps, in collaboration with the Civil Administration of Thingbu, for organizing a free medical camp benefiting over 200 villagers.
Beyond safeguarding our borders, the Indian Army continues to make a meaningful contribution to the health and well-being of our border communities through such initiatives. My appreciation to all those involved for their dedicated service and commitment to public welfare.
A commendable initiative bringing together the Gorkha Regiment of the Indian Army, yak herders, students, and scientists of ICAR–NRC on Yak, Dirang at Chuna for the Yak Mela on 23rd May 2026.
The event beautifully blended cultural pride, community participation, and scientific support to strengthen yak-based livelihoods in the high-altitude regions. The presence of local communities, army personnel, and dignitaries made it truly inclusive and meaningful.
Special appreciation for the input distribution to yak herders of Mago, Thingbu and Luguthang, which will directly support and sustain their livelihoods.
Commemorating the first anniversary of #OpSindoor, an insightful lecture was held at NSCBAV, Thingbu, by the Gorkhas of the Blazing Sword Division, Gajraj Corps, coordinated by Shri Thutan Wangchu, Assistant Commissioner.
I sincerely appreciate the efforts of our armed forces and local administration for this meaningful initiative that inspired students and villagers, fostering awareness, service, and national pride.
The event concluded with a warm community feast, reflecting unity and strong grassroots connection.

Dedicated the re-rated Kitpi Mini Hydel Project (Phase–I) to the people of Tawang today, in the presence of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri @ChownaMeinBJP Ji, Hon’ble MLAs Smt. @tseringlhamubjp Ji, Shri Namgay Tsering Ji, and dignitaries.
Located at Kitpi village on the Nametrong River, this project is a small hydropower plant that generates electricity using the natural flow of water. With the re-rating from 3×500 KW to 2×750 KW, we have enhanced its efficiency and capacity, producing more power through better optimization of resources.
This will lead to improved and stable electricity supply, greater use of clean and renewable energy, and reduced dependence on other power sources.
Heartfelt gratitude to Hon PM Shri @narendramodi Ji for approving the ₹14,105 crore Kalai-II Hydro Electric Project in Anjaw district.
With a capacity of 1200 MW, this project on the Lohit river will strengthen power supply, support grid stability, and bring infrastructure, employment, and development to the region.
On the occasion of Infantry Day, we pay solemn tribute to the indomitable spirit, courage, and sacrifice of our Infantry personnel, the sentinels of our nation’s sovereignty.
Their selfless service in defending our frontiers and ensuring peace stands as a testament to the highest ideals of duty and patriotism.
We remain forever indebted to our brave soldiers for their unwavering commitment to the nation.
Jai Hind!
Warm greetings to all on the occasion of our 79th #IndependenceDay!
On this proud day, we honour the courage of our freedom fighters and the spirit of unity that strengthens our great nation. From the serene mountains of Arunachal to every corner of Bharat, may we together build a stronger, self-reliant, and inclusive India.
