V for Victory Fairy! ✨🧚
The Dodgers went on to win 7-0 after Taehyung’s first pitch ⚾️
What K-pop idol would you want to see throw the next first pitch?
It's crazy how they gaslight u he can't sing, can't dance
he is so complete, his singing, dancing, presence, charisma, a complete artist you could ever ask for 😭
And here is the recurring and systematic pattern in real time: whenever a controversy involving other members arises, the fandom—including solo stans and shippers—tries to shift the focus to Kim Taehyung, even when he has absolutely no involvement in the incident at hand.
The most recent case makes this particularly evident. RM and J-Hope attended a concert by Chris Brown, a singer with a widely documented history of violence against women, physical assaults, allegations of sexual violence, and a domestic violence conviction. The two attended the event, took a photo with him, and Chris Brown himself posted the image on his Instagram.
If there is to be a discussion about the decision to attend this singer's concert, the focus should naturally be on those who made that decision and participated in the event.
#KimTaehyung did not go to the concert. He did not take a photo with Chris Brown. He did not post anything related to the incident. He played no part in the situation.
So why, once again, are they trying to drag his name into the center of the discussion?
Because turning him into a target is an extremely convenient way to divert attention from those who should actually answer for their own conduct. Instead of discussing RM and J-Hope, certain fans immediately look for a way to involve Tae, creating non-existent associations or attempting to establish a false equivalence. The goal is the same: to shift the focus.
Time and again, they use V as a shield whenever their favorites face controversy. The logic seems to be: if the act cannot be defended, attack Tae; if the favorite member's behavior cannot be justified, find something to pin on Tae; if the discussion becomes uncomfortable, change the subject to him.
There is a huge difference between holding someone accountable for their actions and simply seeking out a convenient person—and in the K-pop world, #BTSV is the most influential and popular figure—to absorb outrage that ought to be directed elsewhere.
Tae cannot be held responsible for the choices of other members. He does not need to be involved in a situation to be artificially dragged into it. And, above all, he shouldn't be used as a sort of collective punching bag whenever certain fans need to protect the image of their favorites.
That is exactly how a scapegoat works: they don't need to have caused the problem. It is enough for them to be turned into a convenient target so that others can slip away from the center of the discussion.
And we need to stop accepting this as normal.
If RM and J-Hope went to a concert, discuss RM and J-Hope among yourselves. If there is an issue regarding the decision to support Chris Brown, discuss that decision among yourselves. Stop dragging #Taehyung into situations he wasn't part of just because it makes it easier to defend your favorites.
Tae is not responsible for the other members' choices. He is not responsible for erasing controversies caused by others. And he definitely shouldn't be turned into a shield to protect anyone's reputation.
Defending favorites at all costs while seeking any pretext to attack Tae and make him the convenient scapegoat allows others to continue playing the role of victims, innocents, or the untouchable.
No.
Each person must answer for their own choices.
Don't use Tae as a scapegoat. Don't project others' responsibilities onto him. Don't turn Tae into a distraction to shut down discussions.
If you want to discuss someone's behavior, discuss the behavior of the person who was actually involved.
Leave #V out of it.
I was reflecting on something today and just had to share it with you guys... Taehyung’s current global reach is an absolute, undeniable phenomenon 👑🔥
Whether you look at major news outlets across Asia or the West, his name is literally everywhere. The media continuously praises his rich vocals, his captivating stage presence, his effortless dominance in high fashion, and even shows genuine care regarding his well-being
And it goes far beyond news articles: from Tokyo to NYC, his face is commanding billboards for the biggest global brands. Tae has built such a solid, respected, and iconic legacy that his influence has become truly omnipresent across global pop culture
Seeing him reach these heights through pure talent, grace, and authenticity makes me so proud
Absolutely NOTHING can pull this king down
Lea Salonga in an interview about Jungkook and Taehyung;
Q, As someone with perfect pitch who has spent decades maintaining pristine vocal placement, when you were listening to BTS's live vocals, who stood out to you?
👧: Jungkook is the GOAT. He is..I think among the vocalists, and I have spoken to other people that have worked with him ever since his debut, and this one music director said, because I was remarking on how this kid's pitch is just ridiculously unreal, he said he's been that way. He's always been that way since the very beginning. It's like he swallowed a stack of CDs, and he is consistently like that.
👧: The one whose vocals are the most striking for me, I think it's V. And I think I would say most improved over time, especially now that he's much more physically fit. It's one of those things that I think even he is feeling like, 'This is so much easier for me now.'
👧: But beyond the skill, it's the tone. There's this tone that he has..it isn't just that he's the lone baritone in the vocal line, because jungkook can actually also go down there, but his is that warm tone. And it's like he lives in that warmth. It's exciting when he hits a high note because it's so unexpected, even for Broadway people, when you hear a baritone singing a tenor line.
[rant post I'll probably delete later]
Today was the most beautiful day for me. As much as i got to enjoy the happy moments i still have been feeling emotional the whole day bcs of everything that was shared by taekook.
I am always praying for taehyung and jungkook’s best health.
Taehyung who has been going through so much yet chose to keep his pain to himself because he didn’t want to worry armys. Taehyung who said he didn’t have anyone to rely on during his military service. Taehyung who was away from fans for two years and felt that absence so deeply that he broke down the first time he stepped on stage again. Taehyung who lost his most precious pet. Taehyung who faced injuries but never spoke about them. Taehyung who has been going through a hearing problem for 2.5 years now. Taehyung whose pain was invalidated. My heart aches for him.
Jungkook who hurt his shin so badly he developed a severe inflammation and is on the verge of getting a stress fracture yet still keeps giving ARMYs 100% of his dedication and never complained. Jungkook who suffered a back injury during a performance. Jungkook who keeps asking fans to understand despite owing us nothing. Jungkook who went through such a difficult time during his military service. Jungkook who despite being one of the most sincere people when it comes to his fans is still misunderstood. Jungkook who is the most precious to my heart. My heart breaks for him.
If i could somehow give both of them my share of good health and happiness I would do it in a heartbeat. There is nothing more precious to me than seeing them both healthy happy and living their best lives.
despite all the happy moments they have shared with us I’m so glad they felt safe enough to share their struggles with us. I will always be forever grateful that i get to love you both.
I genuinely don’t know what the purpose of my life would be without loving them with all my being. Thank you for existing. I will never take your love for granted. Take care my loves 🤍
