heavy agree on this bc i’ll never forget how this video gave ppl the ick, where he’s loud, unashamed of himself and the queerest he’s has ever been, they’re just a bunch of hypocrites bc they don’t care about queer representation at all
“consent is a twentieth century concern” this is literally them saying in your face that magnus indeed assaulted lestat and subjected him to some of the most traumatic experiences within that week he was with magnus soo no more downplaying his assault/transformation #tvlspoilers

idk how to be nice about this - if you in any way think the paul scene is implying lestat killed paul or influenced his death you're an actual moron
(watching the show about vampires who are bad people) i don’t like that the vampires are bad people. this is such bad writing, my evil vampire wouldn’t be evil. if you disagree you are racist. i am very smart btw.
This may be an unpopular opinion but idc: I'm not sure I want TVA at all. If it's for Armand to get SAed & passed around like a blunt for at least 4hrs, I don't want it. The only way I'd want it adapted is a joint season with Pandora & maybe a 3rd book to make it a little lighter
he doesn’t, because when claudia grows up she hates him enough to kill him. after two hundred years he’s never reached that point with gabriella, but it makes him so proud to see it in claudia. bring me your malice, show me my own blood, what i could have been. burn in my mirror.
i have such respect for how deep the tvl writers went with gabriella and lestat’s relationship bc it is so uniquely visceral and horrifying to witness. from the first scene of her coming to the hotel there’s been this deep sense of dread and shame whenever she appears (🧵)
@gayporwave This is why I don't get the confusion abt Lestat being her favourite. Both her dads wronged her & she hated them ofc, but Lestat's actual personality & brand of vampirism was more aligned w hers. Santiago had all Lestat's "bad" traits & more but she worshipped the guy (at first!)
people forget claudia was a sociopath. she watched a woman get sexually assaulted on stage not give a fuck and cheered, killed entire families with no remorse, and was happy with the tdv’s torture of humans until they started to humiliate her
Lestat cheating to provoke Louis out of a depression only to end up in a swamp watching Louis get head by his first love. Did not think that one through.
@kaouroboros@LestatWithASoul Well yes. In Magnus' tower, after the trial, Lestat says "I have the blood of Akasha in me" to indicate that he can't be killed if he's not willing, turns to Louis and says "he (Armand) doesn't know what that means"! So Louis knew.
