Propaganda from the Iranian regime. It has a long history of lying and falsehoods. It has killed thousands of its own people earlier in 2026 and in previous years. Absolutely nobody can trust the word of the regime. They are killers.
With regard to Hormuz, the Iranian ports can be closed and blocked for a short time or a long time. Iranian regime can do nothing about it. A long blockade will have a major effect on the Iranian economy. And USA / Israel have many military options.
The regime is fighting for its own survival, as once it has gone the Iranian people will want retribution for the killings etc done by the regime for the last 47 years.

I experienced the same process with a "friend" who inherently assumed I had bad values and he would needle me and question me just about everything I said. It got to the point where we have not been in any contact for a few years. A sad situation, but it was impossible for him to behave any differently. I no longer wanted to be browbeaten or treated with disrespect. That is what actually occurred. An arrogant attitude that they are correct and have superior values. They end up being a toxic person.

The journalists at the Australian are not providing a proper and deep context for what is happening, especially with regard to the policies of Trump and his administration. They give a weak analysis. Their internal bias and perhaps inherent dislike for Trump gets in the way. I get better analysis and research on X ( a lot crap but also a lot of information) in a manner more timely than the standard media.

Listened to this "interview". Carlson is manipulative, plays on words, phrases etc and suggestive in his tone. He is trying to set up Huckabee with any number of potential gotchas. Carlson is devious and nasty. I have listened to him in the past as he sometimes comes with an alternative point of view. But his style now is toxic. I am no longer bothered with him.
