Fair point. But the counter-argument is simple: if the scrum was “built on a charade”, then why did the All Blacks struggle to deal with it for large parts of the game?
You can analyse the mechanics all you want, but dismissing the Boks’ scrum as a tactic or trick doesn’t explain the repeated pressure and dominance. Sometimes the opposition is just bloody good at something. Give credit where it’s due
@Cass_maitias Actually saw this right after I replied to your message. See people trying to validate the behaviour, even validating it through things done in 2023 by some of the irish in a contest with NZ. JH was out of line last night and the medical staff as well.
@Cass_maitias I can promise you no South African fan would support his behaviour tonight. Im a big SA fan but tonight feel sad to be associated with that behaviour and the way Munster was treated in that penalties spectacle
@ChicagoBoy2023@mark_keohane@Springboks@AllBlacks Previous Bok teams would not have been able to come back from that poor start. It shows a lot pf guts to come back and register a great win. Dont see this as a bad result (bad weekend).
@Elmakapelma I think majority of the SA supporters attending the tournament are currently residing in the UK or the Netherlands. Literally every South African I know living in the Netherlands will be going to at least 1 game. But not taking anything away from the Dutch attending though
