Yesterday I mentioned to one of my favorites that I was exhausted after Halloween weekend and had zero energy for him today.

Woke up to a complete wellness day planned out: an Uber Eats gift card for my breakfast, a spa slot, a late lunch at my favourite place, a pilates class, and a curated list of movie options both on Netflix and in nearby cinemas for my evening.

Mind you, he didn’t pay for every single detail, nor does he need to. It’s never just about the money, it’s the sheer proactivity, thoughtfulness, and respect for my time.

As a reward he gets to handle the tab for tonight’s sushi with my girl.✨🍣
