Bunka represents exactly why elephants need sanctuary and freedom rather than zoo captivity. This is a disgrace. @cher help this poor soul ๐๐๐๐

He needs a SANCTUARY. @Cher
Hi friends! My name is Buccee. ๐ฉต
I was scheduled to be euthanized on 6/17 for medical reasons at Dallas Animal Services after I was hit by a car while out on a walk with my shelter foster. But then something amazing happened... Mazieโs Mission stepped in and saved me!
Right now, I need some time to rest and heal. I'm focusing on getting stronger every day, and I'll be sure to let everyone know when I'm ready to start looking for my forever family.
Thank you to everyone who believed in me and helped give me a second chance. ๐พ๐

@StanWillenbring@giveashitnature That was my thought. l don't see how the tree has been here for 200+ years and it's now just become a problem. Seems like the lantern flies moved on from what they ate before and are now after this tree. If gone, they'll hit other plants/trees that we use for food.
Somewhere in a forest, a Pangolin is going about its life. Somewhere on Facebook, someone is already negotiating its price.
Right now, pangolins, sea turtles, and clouded leopard cubs are being sold on Facebook like second-hand furniture.ย Facebook is hosting the biggest criminal wildlife marketplace ever documentedand its algorithms are making sure more people find the listings.
Facebook is profiting from every ad clicked. Let's ensure its investors know the cost of looking away.

@Lee_in_Iowa@giveashitnature Awww, that's sad. Those poison bait traps kill all the birds/predators that eventually eat the mice as well. We were lucky to have a black snake that lived under the barn that kept the mice away. And cats in and around the barn & house.
@V4Carver@giveashitnature I had one that stayed in my garage every winter night for several years. Never bothered our chickens. And l see them all the time around the neighborhood chickens. They share meals with the TNRd cats.
