@BBCCornwall thanks for the opportunity to discuss the app on air last week. We’ve had a great uptake over the last few days but we still need thousands of more users to turn our data into citizens science. This is our first social media share direct from the app!
Thanks to @BBCCornwall for the opportunity to discuss Tidal Revival live on air to the 80,000 listeners. We only need 1/4 of those listeners to download the app to reach our target.
Want to be rewarded for the plastic you pick up on beaches? @TidalRevival needs 20,000 people in Cornwall to sign up & log what they pick up. You then earn points towards free stuff! The research will be used by universities. They also wants more companies to offer incentives
Great advice.
Additionally use the Tidal Revival beach cleaning app to record the plastic you find at the beach and score points that you can trade with local businesses.
If you're visiting a beach, put your litter in a bin, and if there aren't any nearby, please take it away with you.
