Two new #windpower records on one day! Early last Friday, wind supplied a record-breaking 62.1% of GB electricity. Later that day, wind generated more power to the grid than ever before, peaking at 17.7GW between 15:30 & 16:30.💪🇬🇧 h/t @NationalGridESO

Wednesday morning saw another new high for the share of #wind on the system.

At 1.30am on August 26 wind power made up 59.9% (14.2GW) of Britain's #electricity.
