@devingardnerXCI Michigan *institutes beat UGA drill.
Michigan *loses to TCU
Michigan *undefeated regular reason
Also Michigan* faced 2 quarterbacks all year that a football casual could name
Good luck. Roll Tide.
@ryankberry04@caseyao@NCAAPortal FSU played with a healthy Jordan Travis. You cannot tell me or convince me that the team that played last night against Louisville was even remotely close to the team that beat lsu in the opener.
@Trueseminole28@cponder7 Auburn was a rivalry game. If there is one thing Iโve learned as an Alabama fan it is that spooky things happen at Jordan-Hare if you are Alabama.
But end of the day it is what it is. Roll tide.
@Trueseminole28@cponder7 Body of work matters as well. Bama elevated its level of play and continued to develop. Florida state was unfortunately and unfairly hampered by QB injury. Truthfully if you just wanted my 4 best, they are (in no order)
Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan.
@Trueseminole28@cponder7 Top 10 strength of schedule. Wins over Ole Miss, LSU, UGA. And conference champion.
FSUโs sos was already trash and the Travis injury factored in.
We can debate, but the committee clearly stated 4 best teams. Not one wants to watch a 21-24pt semifinal beat down.
If the CFP committee truly wants to include the 4 BEST teams and not the 4 most deserving, then the field is pretty obvious.
1. Michigan
2. Washington
3. Texas
4. Alabama
Say what you will abt FSU, SOS and eye test matter. Otherwise, why schedule strong noncons. #CFB#RTR#SEC
@oregon_jj Who would be favored on a neutral field? FSUโs opponents went a combined 67-76. The committee factors injuries into their decision making process. Unless the world wants to watch a 3-4 touchdown drubbing in the semis, this decision is easy.
