1. Accept the reality of the loss 2. Feel the feelings 3. Make plans and adapt to changes 4. Create a new relationship with the person who died. Not in order and can be revisited.

@SantasTavern @PTogekiss @ThrillaRilla369 Trophy hunting is bad for animal populations because trophy hunters go for, for example, big healthy male lions with beautiful manes. Who should instead be adding their healthy genetics to the gene pool. That's just one reason.

@JihadalHaqq Alaska and Hawaii became states 11 years AFTER Israel became a state. Much of the sw and west coast were not much earlier. The cognitive dissonance to understand whats happening in Palestine but be blind to whats happening right around you is frightening. But prevalent!

@KlonnyPin_Gosch In order to understand northern Idaho you have to look into the Bunker Hill superfund site. Coeur d'Alene basin's soil and water is contaminated with lead from smelters which horribly, can lead to cognitive impairment especially if you are exposed as a young child.

@TheKoopaGuy When they say they are "open minded" they are not lying, they believe whatever "speaks" to them. It could have been anti-imperialist history if we'd made it sound like a fun conspiracy theory but instead Q anon took advantage of their (justified) mistrust of the medical industry.

You know what? I'm so fucking tired of this "Oh yeah I already knew that" type of take. They were left leaning in many ways and we lost them. The right's propaganda was better and we need to learn from that.

@TheKoopaGuy Yes definitely, but I don't see the rightward swing as being inevitable because there is also "mother gaia" environmentalism, anti-war sentiment, emphasis on interconnectedness, etc. All of which could be easily meshed into a leftist viewpoint.
