It’s been a joy to work with @stainedglasstv_ on #thepolygamist - I’m excited about all the hype for this truly entertaining series, the conversations it sparks, right on the pulse of the zeitgeist. From the dailies of day zero test shoot to the final review, I knew it was a hit.
At this point we're running out of ways to say THANK YOU ❤️!
The Polygamist isn't just topping charts at home anymore!
We're now the #3 show globally on Netflix and the #1 show in 16 countries across Africa, Europe, the Caribbean and Asia.
EXCUSE US?! 😭🔥
We appreciate you!
@SueNyathi As a self published author myself, it’s incredible to hear that you bet on yourself and now the world gets to watch this spellbinding show.
🥳🥳🥳
I want to thank @NetflixSA and @stainedglasstv_ for taking my story from print to film. This is such a surreal moment for me!!
#ThePolygamist is my debut novel, the book that got rejected by many publishers. So I took a bet on myself and self published. The bet paid off!!
I often wonder, in today’s world where going viral is the North Star of a lot more people, what is the real cost of popularity? Monetary, tangible, intangible cost?
On Monday I launched my flavoured butter brand, and I’m really excited for you to taste it.
Flavoured butter (also called compound butter) is butter mixed with herbs, spices, and other ingredients that make everyday meals taste incredible.
I launched with 5 flavors:
1. Honey, all spice, tahini and cardamom
2. Creamy yoghurt butter
3. Paprika, Orange and Black Pepper
4. Garlic Butter
5. Honey chili crunch
I also make a rustic baguette 🥖

I’ve always thought of reading as opening doors, and re-reading, as how you live inside the rooms or worlds the doors usher you into. Divine like you’ve said 💡
To read is fine. To re-read is divine: To rediscover words. To discover contexts. To put your finger on feelings that evaded you the first time, in definitions that were vague. To ride smooth where once it was bumpy. To discover bridges where once there was a gaping space...
