Iβm proud to see elite athletes whose bodies are treated and seen as machines of mere performance and entertainment, owning their humanness and reality of fragility. People push themselves not because they want to, but because society has convinced them , that they have to.
This world and people will use you up until you have nothing left to give, and then judge you when you say no. As necessary as they are, people and institutions donβt often like boundaries.
Having the courage to walk away from opportunities, environments, and relationships that others look at "too good to be true" is a big deal. That type of courage is strength that is often not acknowledged.
Days like this is why I love remote work and doing Telehealth β€οΈβοΈ it feels so good to pour myself into 2 things I love : service and self care. Being in nature is always self care for me .

Know that, every clinician will not be a good fit, but it doesnβt mean something is wrong with the therapeutic process. You may get to a point where you question yourself or others. But, trust the process. Trust, its a process. It will surely be worth it. #MentalHealthAwareness
I love that more people are becoming interested, so if thatβs you, and you end up with a good clinician, let me tell you, itβs not romantic and easy. It will be challenging, uncomfortable, and maybe even stressful. It may be ugly, difficult, and gut wrenching. #Mentalhealth
Going to therapy isnβt easy. Committing to therapy isnβt easy. Applying what you learn in therapy (if youβre learning anything) in real life isnβt easy. #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth#mentalhealth
You deserve to feel, experience, and be in the light β€οΈβοΈπ«
