@davis_jbug2001@DrFrankTurek Great example of how He absolutely walked in the power of God anointed by the Holy Spirit. But He did it as a man in the flesh. That's why we can be asked to walk "even as He walked" (I John 2:6) & that's how Peter & others did the works they did in Acts after He left. God bless!
@davis_jbug2001@DrFrankTurek Acts 2:22 He was "a MAN approved of God among you by miracles & wonders & signs, which GOD DID BY HIM in the midst of you." Feel free to give me a scriptural example where Jesus did anything on His own and with this godly power you say He had.
@davis_jbug2001@DrFrankTurek Yes, He was made flesh. In exactly what way did He walk as "fully God"? When He was tempted? How do you tempt a God? When He was killed? How do you kill a God? When He did miracles? He said He didn't do them. When He prayed? Was He praying to Himself? Why pray if you're God?
@KristanHawkins For someone who often cites science, data and statistics, you just stated nothing but a weak opinion that isn't backed by any FACTS aka The Word of God. Give some scriptures that prove what you said about her being active on earth & praying for us. I'll wait...
@Laracordels9 @0hour1 @LauraLoomer The inaccuracies are actually more persuasive that the document is real. If someone manufactured it, wouldn't they make sure it was perfect? Would they not try to avoid suspicion & criticism? Why leave obvious errors?
@thatsKAIZEN Keep seeking & keep knocking, Kaizen. You will find. You won't find religion...but rather Jesus the man who is alive today. The only teacher/mentor/prophet who was ever raised from the dead. That's why He is THE way, the truth & life. God bless!
@gentrywgevers Correction: Satan and the powers of darkness working THROUGH people like Candace have attempted to hijack it. But, the Lord already won the victory.
@greglaurie Genuinely asking…in what way was He God? Can God die? Can God be tempted? He said he did nothing of himself. He emptied himself of all Godly privilege (Phil2). The Father raised him from the dead…he didn’t raise himself (Acts2). Exactly what part of Him was God?
@DrFrankTurek So thankful you’re addressing this. Can’t imagine enduring the pain of witnessing what you did and now having to deal with all of this. May God bless you & continue to strengthen you.
@ostrachan If Jesus had done whatever he wanted, he wouldn’t have gone to the cross. He is our example. In the garden he prayed to the Father to take this cup from him, but he said “Nevertheless not what I will, but what you will”. (Mark 14:36) We are to deny ourselves and take up our cross
@JackPosobiec Did you know that praying for the “souls of the faithful departed” is not scriptural and has no place in the life of a Christian anyway? Charlie’s soul doesn’t need any prayer, I can tell you that. He is joyfully with the Lord!!
@JackPosobiec Easter we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord. Christmas the birth of our Lord. Thanksgiving we give thanks for a new life lived freely on this land. July 4th Independence. Tell me…what are we celebrating on Halloween exactly? I’ll wait.
@WanderinSquire@sola_chad Again, your spirit is saved when you are born again & you will go to heaven. But do you know anyone who is saved & still struggles w/sin? Why is that? Study the difference between the spirit & the soul. According to Romans 6, baptism plays a role in walking as a Christian.
@WanderinSquire@sola_chad It’s not. The teaching of baptism as nothing more than a public declaration is erroneous. When you are saved, your spirit is saved and joined to the Lord. Baptism deals with the sinful soul, the sin nature, the “old man”, so that we no longer serve sin. Romans 6 v1-12
