Every act of human wickedness committed against another human being starts with the breaking of intimate, vertical relationship with God.
Personal change must take place vertically before it ever takes place horizontally.
Satan is a cruel manipulator. He desires for God’s girls to get ensnared and distracted by competing and comparing.
But our calling is never to "one up" the next girl. It is to raise up the name of Jesus and live His truths in an authentic way.

And when this seems ridiculous, read Proverbs chapter 10.
Humility comes before honor.
Sometimes the sweetest wisdom is learned in the fiercest of battles.
