The Wachowskis really had Neo fighting an entire army of Hugo Weavings in THE MATRIX RELOADED (2003), with Smiths multiplying faster than he could take them down. That sequence still feels like a blockbuster trying to break its own limits.
Not really.
Both are the inheritors of a highborn family, Harry however was raised as muggle, but he still carries that lineage with him and that's a big part of why Malfoid sees Harry as a rival.
They also have mirrored arcs, living up to the expectations and actions of their family. Harry works to follow in the footsteps of his heroic parents, Malfoid is struggling to be like her supremacist parents as she struggles to do the dark deeds that Voldemort has tasked her with.
They're also both the golden child of their respective House, and carry on the legacy of the founders of the house symbolically.
They're two sides of the same coin. Meanwhile actually Cho or Ginny are far more different to Harry than Malfoid, they occupy no highborn lineage nor have they ever felt the stilfing weight of destiny on their shoulders. Neither of them can understand what it means to bear the expectations of greatness.
She tries a bunch of "Certified Muggle Courtship Strategies" and it ends up just being weirdly translated pickup artist tricks, and as a result Harry is just confused, so she pivots to being mean to deflect her embarassment.
Eventually she switches over to reading romance novels in an attempt to learn how to woo him, but all of the ideas she gets are far too embarrassing to actually try on him, so she just gets addicted to reading romance books all the time and imagining Harry as the love interest.
