@shukla_tarun@DGCAIndia If they would have started the type rating & line training of the hired pilots in last calender year this could have been avoided. Invest in youth for better tomorrow
@Vinamralongani@IndiGo6E See captain Neha thakre ( captain at IGO ) podcast about 18-20 months old if she can predict, then why didn’t IGO do the simple maths. IGO king of Indian avaiation industry & they must take that as a responsibility. Just to remind Customers are the ultimate boss
@Vinamralongani True. But don’t forgot they were aware of NEW FDTL since 18 months. Why didn’t they start training for approx 200-400 pilots hired but didn’t start there line training / type rating ? There no pilot shortage.
@nabilajamal_ This NEW FDTL was delayed for implementation by 1 year then again on request of airlines that was implemented phase wise
•48 hours weekly rest from 1st july
•Night definition & landing limit from 1 st November
In short they have enough time for that. But they just messed it
@manishasinghal indigo took @DGCAIndia lightly. Those who are waiting for induction indigo could have inducted them & starte the line training. My guess is 200-400 pilots waiting for induction since one year if indigo would have inducted this would have been avoided. Only crying pilot poaching.
@jagritichandra & same very airline has not implemented new FDTL. FO. Pathetic roster standby pull out wrongly are just small issues now. As per senior level manager implementing NEW FDTL means reducing flights by 10-20 % or adding pilots by 10-20 %. This will absorb the Bench strength hence
