Dennis Hastert, the longest-serving Republican Speaker of the House and a serial child molester who sexually abused teenage boys, has checked into hell at 84.

Donald Trump hates Democrats. Some Republicans like that. Until they realize he also hates Republicans. And - don't forget Independents - he hates them too.
He hates Ukraine AND Russia, Taiwan AND China, Israel AND Gaza. He hates places he doesn't know.
He hates the Rule of Law more than anything. It's always in his way. He wants to change it, dictate it, be it, and wield it.
You know who else he hates? He hates his followers. In fact, he not only hates them, but they nauseate and disgust him.
He has all this hate and no love, because there's a metaphorical divot in his brain. It leaves him with no ability to feel empathy. No sense of shame. No capacity for contrition. No counterbalance to any of his malice. He cannot ever see beyond himself.
He has no friends - the allies he has, are allies only as long as they are useful to him. And his children - are spawn.
What DOES he have? Self-based cravings and impulses. Avarice. Desire for attention, adulation, money, power, revenge, domination, and his illusory vision grandiosity. He is a human id.
He also hates that he's old, and that he's ill. He's as miserable as he is malign. When it's time, he wants to go out on his own terms.
He is a narcissist, sociopath, fraudster, sexual deviant, and parasite.
You couldn't build a worse person in a laboratory, with a trillion dollars of AI.
It's a good time to restate: Trump CANNOT and DOES NOT see beyond himself - EVER. He is NOT strategic - he is transactional. He does not think, he feels. He's an amalgamation of impulses and cravings. Freud would call him a "human id."
He is now owned by his disorders. What I mean by that, is that his impulses and cravings outweigh even his self-interests. This is why it often seems as though he is trying to lose. He simply cannot pivot, he will almost always double down, and he can never shut up or stop.
In his mind, there is no you or me. There is no America. There are no high prices. There is no future. There is only him, right now. There is only his grandiosity, his impulses, his cravings, and his reality. And if you're not reporting his reality, stay away.
This is a dangerous malignant narcissist, impatient and defiant, fearful of his own mortality, frustrated that he's no longer able to force-feed his concocted reality, and terrified that all he is and all he ever said he was, could be exposed and crumble like a House of Cards.
He is in decline, he WILL get worse, and - note to Republicans - he will NOT want to go down alone.
@JoJoFromJerz Listen to all Trump's abused supporters who can't afford food, gas, housing & healthcare while billionaires get richer & he's making billions off the presidency he's using to avoid prison
Like fools with no self respect they keep defending their abuser as americans suffer
This morning, I heard a political analyst make a simple statement that I thought hit the nail on the head. The analyst was Mark McKinnon (the guy with the hat) and he was asked to sum up what voters are feeling right now.
He did NOT say high prices. He did NOT say unbridled corruption. He did NOT say global unrest. He did NOT say a President and government that was lying to them.
He said ALL of the above - in a simple phrase: "Voters are feeling a loss of control." Bingo!
Why bingo? Because it better extends to what ALL voters are feeling, regardless of their Party, politics, partisanship, geography, or processing skill.
High prices IS loss of control. Unbridled corruption IS loss of control. Global unrest IS loss of control. A President and government that lies IS MOST DEFINITELY loss of control.
Now I want to bring this simple on-the-nose observation full circle and tell you why I'm posting this:
When Trump says stupid shit - I mean the real desperate, pathologically induced, need-for-grandiosity stupidest shit - we need to NOT call attention to it and NOT get outraged - we need to call him on it, call it stupid, call it desperate, and dare him to do it. If he threatens to tear down the Kennedy Center, don't be outraged or turn that into a discussion - that's what he wants - let him tear it down or back off, because if he does tear it down, his polling will tank further, because he's controlling us. If he threatens to stop all trading with Europe if they invite and accept Canada into the EU, let him stop all trading with Europe or back off, because if he does tear it down, his polling will tank further, because he's controlling us. And if he makes SUPER-stupid comments like equating trading deficits with lost $, again - point it out, and laugh at it as stupid and desperate, so that it's clear that the person controlling us is just that - stupid and desperate.
THIS is how we further create a focus ON HIM as the source of the loss of control, and a source of stupidity and desperation.
And THIS is ALSO how the Dems need to begin messaging why voters need to go ALL DEM these midterms: Voting all Dem will be a vote FOR greater control. Vote all Dem and bring control back to the People. Vote all Dem and in so doing, vote AGAINST the source responsible for YOUR loss of control.
It's simple. But it's a relevant, easy to understand, and far-reaching concept.
And it directly counters wannabe autocrats- who are all about controlling the People.
People keep saying Trump term II is the most corrupt administration ever, so I built a model to find out if it was true.
I took the UN's definition of corruption, turned it into eight criteria and 100 points, and scored the leaders history remembers for looting their countries: Marcos, Suharto, Mobutu, Abacha, Obiang, Putin.
Then I put every president since Eisenhower on the same scale, both parties, with every exoneration counted right alongside the convictions.
Nixon scored 41 and no other American President scored over a 25.
Trump's second term scored a 91, which ties him with Suharto and Mobutu and puts him above Marcos and Abacha.
So he is not only the most corrupt president in American history. At this pace he finishes his term level with the most corrupt rulers of the last hundred years.
PSA: don't come in my comments arguing about the results if you haven't read the full article, because ignorance is a choice.
Full article is up now on my Substack (link in bio) and it's free.
And so here we are. This statement from Trump blows my mind. That a sitting president would not let any renovations to a public building go on unless he gets to first put his name in the said building… What a sad state of affairs. What a tragedy. Actually, how small minded, how narcissistic. Actually
great men, devoted to public service and the public good do not act like this.
It seems that this man will not rest until his name is permanently connected to the name of a great president, whose memory this building was dedicated to. Imagine spending your time and your days focused on this, as everyday Americans struggle with healthcare, gas prices, rent, and food. Imagine spending your days focused on this, while a war rages under your leadership.
Enough said. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Just a reminder that Truth Social charging $100,000 a month for early access to Trump's posts is not just incredibly corrupt...it's also unconstitutional.

“I saw these morons described as "The Four Horsemen of Vaginal Dryness" and I could not breathe for a whole five minutes for the convulsive laughing. So damn apt.”
@Brewjew308@krassenstein That sure tracks. He has well founded fear of falling & needs it.
He still wears a diaper beneath it though. That kind of problem doesn’t just disappear.
IMO his mental health issues are way more serious & Grandpa ought to resign. Being a malignant narcissist, he won’t.
Dear Idiots,
There is no $5,000 for you.
Just like there were no "DOGE rebates."
Just like there were no "tariff dividends."
All bullshit.
Like the line about no new wars.
Like the line about costs coming down immediately.
Like the line about releasing the Epstein files.
It's hard to encapsulate the sheer volume of stupidity here. I don't even know where to start.
Wait, yeah I do.
One wasn't fucking shot.

This is what the @GOP wants to move on from.
This is what they say was a "normal tour".
This is an attack on our country, by enemies of democracy, that the @GOP refuses to acknowledge or investigate.
Ask yourself why.
Now share this with your uninformed.
