On July 16, DOJ employee George Higginbotham entered the Chinese Embassy and told Ambassador Cui that “successful efforts” were underway to extradite Miles Guo, with more information expected from National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster. Weeks later, Higginbotham and Pras Michel traveled to Macau to reassure Jho Low: both missions were moving — kill the 1MDB investigation and send Guo back. Higginbotham testified roughly $100 million moved through Low-linked shell companies, with $41 million landing in his escrow account. Two projects. One financier. One question: Who was Jho Low?

2026.8.20 Broidy tapped President Trump’s longtime friend Stephen Wynn, then finance chairman of the RNC. Wynn’s empire depended on Macau, where nearly three-quarters of Wynn Resorts’ 2017 revenue was generated and the CCP controlled the gaming concession. Then Sun Lijun, then vice minister of public security, began calling Wynn. The demand: remove Miles Guo from America. Wynn carried Beijing’s request directly to Trump, handed Guo’s passport photos to Trump’s secretary, then kept pressing White House and NSC officials. Macau was Wynn’s oxygen. Beijing controlled the valve. And Wynn carried Beijing’s message straight to the White House.

In May 2017, Sun met Pras Michel, Nickie Lum Davis, and Elliott Broidy, and Jho Low in Shenzhen, China. The mission: cancel Guo’s visa, force him out of America, and secure access to senior U.S. officials.
Pras Michel was already working with DOJ official George Higginbotham to get the 1MDB investigation dropped. Then came a second, “more lucrative” assignment: remove Guo from America.

Party-controlled companies use state assets, private fronts, IPOs, bonds, mergers, and acquisitions to move China’s wealth overseas, while American elites and institutions supply capital, legitimacy, and political access. Guo revealed the mechanism: high SOE dividends operating as money-laundering channels and major U.S. investments becoming vehicles for influence and bribery. In an October 14, 2020 GTV post, he connected HNA, Bohai Capital, UPenn’s China-linked donations, and the Bidens. The money moved. The trail remained.
