My 11-year-old niece was sitting with her legs uncrossed when my grandpa told her to cross them. She asked, “Why?” He said, “Because boys might look up your skirt.” Without missing a beat, she replied, “Then why don’t you tell boys not to look up girls’ skirts instead?” I couldn’t stop smiling.
