A Quick Update Before I Take a Short Break

I’m taking a 5 day break, but before I go, I wanted to pop on here and share a few urgent needs for our sanctuary/ charity .

Right now, we are desperately in need of adult wet dog food, puppy wet food, and poo bags.
These essentials are running low, and keeping our dogs fed and cared for is our top priority.

We also wanted to mention our ongoing fundraising efforts. We are still working hard to reach our targets, and every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference.

Food donations are our most urgent need at the moment, but any support, whether through donating supplies, contributing to our fundraiser, or sharing this post is greatly appreciated.

Every day we seem to witness another case of unimaginable cruelty inflicted on innocent animals. Ireland, what is happening?
Huge thanks to the team at Waterford Vets for taking her in. Daisy has now been transferred to Southview veterinary hospital, where she will remain for some time while receiving the care she desperately needs ❤️
She is heartbreakingly sad and completely shut down 💔💔
Once a beautiful Saluki, she is now a broken dog carrying the scars of severe neglect and cruelty😡😡💔💔
Despite everything she has endured, she is now safe with her MLHR family, and we will do everything in our power to help her heal and give her the life she deserves.
Daisy has a long road ahead, and every donation will help provide the veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, and care she needs.

Zeus has only been here a few days but has quickly settled into SSC kennel life 😊
All the kennel staff have absolutely fallen in love with this beautiful boy who is 11 years old and have described him as a happy chappy, friendly, a big softie aswell as sweet & gentle 💖✨️🤗

Can you please share for Axl? He is waiting for a new home.

Axl is a 1.5 year old German Shepherd Cross Rottweiler.
He is good with older kids but will bark at other dogs.
Axl is in need of a new home through no fault of his own.
He is chipped and chemically neutered.
Axl is healthy with no medical issues.
He eats a mix of wet and dry food and is also crate trained.
He sleeps in his crate and is registered at the vets.
Axl is okay in the car and will bark at people to begin with but will settle.
He would be best without other dogs or cats in a home.
Ideally he would suit someone who can give him further training.
Axl is vaccinated.
