I like to think of myself as someone with strong opinions which are loosely held… Live in a little town, Hinckley and came from a little little in Wales.
Imagine I had not payed my #tvlicence and refused to do so. They would not just chase me for what I owe but also fine me in excess of £1000 (with fees).
Now imagine I accidentally payed for a licence I did not need or use for a property I did not live in… what should happen?
I recently built an endorsements system for my site that works without user accounts, while still giving people full control over what they’ve written.

@Victoria00025 Under international law, illegal entry is largely irrelevant if a person is legitimately seeking asylum.
The left accepts that some people enter a safe nation via irregular channels, but that does not make their asylum claim illegal. That is what the conversation is about.
#motability say they want to have at least 50% of their fleet to be British made as they focus more on the needs of disabled people, limiting the choices for those with complex or specific needs… seems somewhat counter productive to their aspirations.
#Motability have recently announced the removal of several brands and body types of vehicles on the basis they are focusing on cars that meet people’s needs. It’s ok though because there are still 850 options available… of those only 1 option is suitable for me and my needs!
@GeminiApp I am trying to upgrade to premium, but unable to do so because google workspaces does not recognise my postcode is the correct format... yes it very much is the correct format and has been for 60 years.
For clarity, this occurs once you start typing the town.
@KayosByte@elonmusk@JDVance The very thing @JDVance rails against is exactly what you just fell for—proving why it’s so important. You see the irony in using blatant misinformation to protest efforts against misinformation, right?
Based on @Google’s decision to rename the Gulf of Mexico in @googlemaps I have decided to make the shift to remove Google services from my life starting with #maps.
What a disappointing service from @Tesco tonight. Placed an order for click and collect, scheduled for collection between 7-8.
Got to the pick up point with barely a minute to spare so yes I was pushing my luck but still arrived just before 8.
Was turned away!
I understand it is not @O2, @SkyHelpTeam, @VodafoneUK, @EE making the calls but we need a way from all providers to confirm we are speaking with our provider and not a 3rd party or you need to stop 3rd parties accessing the details of our accounts.
@O2@SkyHelpTeam@VodafoneUK it is important that I go through security checks to confirm MY identity. What security checks exist for U to confirm who U are?
I am sick of third parties calling me claiming they are you, offering upgrades to find out later in the call it is not U
@UKLabour@GOVUK as a #disabled driver, contemplating an #electriccar when I next change, am struggling to see how I would manage given how inaccessible #DNCConvention2024 charging points are. Please address this with manufacturers.
#marvel@RobertDowneyJr.
We loved you as iron man, and we would love to see you return through any of the infinite possibilities presented by the multiverse but not this, you are Tony not Victor!
Best day ever!
Went to #McDonalds ordered a double cheeseburger with two modifications; no pickle and 1 extra cheese slice.
Got the pickle bit right but messed up the rest… in the best way possible. Not only did I get the extra cheese slice but also an extra beef patty!
