It’s just frustrating that instead of being excited for a main story drop in Love and Deepspace that should be released tomorrow on July 9th, everyone is now anxious about the state of the game as a whole now.
I think that by not releasing Valko as planned, Infold will be missing out on a huge opportunity to bring in new players and revenue because the past week had EVERYONE around the world talking about him as well as this game.
I have seen countless non LaDS players say they will give the game a chance and even pull for the “new canceled character” because of curiosity as well as the buzz created by the community in the past week.
It has been free marketing for them that has reached the global level, and all eyes are on them.
By not releasing Valko, they will be essentially saying that yes, artistic integrity no longer matters and yes, we will cave to cyber bullying of the loud minority, which is never the right stance to be in for these kind of situations for any company.
Staying silent is fine to quell the tide in the last few days. But it has been over a week, and it just seems like such an easy decision to show to the world, their investors, their competitors, their staff, their fans, their community, that sticking with what you intended to do in the first place IS the right path to run towards.
Not caving into the criticism, negativity, and hate.
I hope they truly rethink their decision on cancelling Valko and bring him back into the story as the 6th love interest, nothing less, because the entire world is watching closely now.
