A message to fellow scientists - please do not under any circumstance use generative AI images as "illustrations" to promote research.
The relationship between scientists & artists is historically long standing and mutually beneficial. Don't set a precedence by trampling on it.
the only problem I have with it (other than wasted resource) is that it would crush some kids dream that the museum, does not in fact, come to life after sunset..
@MustelidDwyer I went and checked it out a few days later and it was dead outside of its burrow but not injured. We had the vet out to look at our cows and he told me it was probably rabid after poking at it and to leave burrows alone lol.
@MustelidDwyer hahaha lots of running! my dogs were really interested in it’s burrow so I went and checked it out after putting them in the house. It scurried out and was acting pretty aggressively—I thankfully had used my bike to go and inspect (I was 13) and rode away.

@DALevering I think actual discussion could be very productive! If that gets implemented perhaps posting some of the main questions before the symposia would be helpful for people to organize thoughts/feel more prepared.
