@HPBAac We had a machine scrimmage between 2 varsity teams in a top league in so cal. Velocity set at 83. Final score after 9 innings. 3-3. 30 fly ball outs. The velo is not the problem, kids adjust. Kids can’t adjust to less than 85 with 3 pitches for strikes. That destroys them!

@BradleyGloves Hard ground balls and hard line drives create opportunity. The problem isn’t in the data that flyballs create more production, the problem is kids who can’t hit hard fly balls are being taught to rather than having success sticking with hard ground balls and hard line drives.
