Who would have thought that driven by curiosity, I kept exploring, learned coding, gradually grasped front-end and back-end logic, and built everything from scratch. I ran into all kinds of pitfalls:
Debugging bugs over and over, revising my work to comply with WeChat rules, getting rejected multiple times during mini-program reviews, researching privacy agreements and domain configuration. The hardest part was integrating WeChat Pay. Certificates, secret keys and callback logic — one wrong parameter would break everything.
I handled the entire process on my own: coding, feature testing, compliance fixes, submitting for review, until the full payment flow worked and the whole WeChat mini-program went live.
I built several WeChat mini-programs by myself:
✅ Smart Law Assistant (智能小律通):Legal practice tools & law exam practices
✅ Amora AI (爱莫拉):AI assistant for content generation
✅ PDF Toolkit:Handy PDF processing tools
✅ ShiwuBao (事务宝):Daily task & workflow management
Feel free to check them out. I’d love to hear your feedback and suggestions!

When I first got into AI, all I did was chat with ChatGPT. I knew nothing about code or development.

I went from being just an AI user chatting with models to an independent developer shipping a real product.
No team, no outsourced work. I turned an idea into a usable mini-program starting from zero.
My biggest takeaway: AI is not just a tool for casual chats. It is leverage for ordinary people to turn ideas into reality. Behind the polished live product are countless error messages, reworks and late-night debugging sessions.
A lack of prior experience is not a barrier. If you dare to start and keep troubleshooting, you can build your own product.

GPT‑6.1 is out, but Plus subscribers still can’t access it inside the ChatGPT desktop app!
Anyone else feel like Codex is getting less attentive to Plus paying users?
It’s already live on the web, yet the desktop app — our main coding workspace — hasn’t rolled out GPT‑6.1. Paid subscribers are stuck on older models.
