@ConnerMorro There’s so many factors to be taken in to account. Are you hunting? Reacting? What’s the count? Probability, history from previous AB’s, action of the ball (4 seam, cutter, 2 seam), pitcher type (soft backwards lefty is a complete different feel than 100 MPH righty for example).

@ConnerMorro I wouldn’t necessarily agree with aiming or pre determining where you’re going to hit the ball. I think approach/probability play a big factor in this as well. There’s a difference between staying inside the ball/creating depth vs straight up “oppo”. (Continued 👇)

Every top HS prospect has the ability to hit velocity. Every top HS prospect has an aggressive mind set. Discipline is great (walks, hbp), but take advantage of count leverage!
