The wait is over.
We have 2 golds: Chimdiebube Onwubiko and Don Anele Munachimso.
We are the best in the world!
Egejurum Onyedikachi’s name was omitted. He should have a gold.
@Morris_Monye This love for trump and America at the same time wanting a better Africa, just doesn’t work, you’ve stick to one, America thrives on chaos around the world, what trump is doing is just showing the world how they literally control everything down to sports, no moral in this story
Over 30,000 children have already registered for the 2027 South East Maths Olympiad.
We will be unlocking a new set of exceptional students and teachers.
They all need our support to reach the heights of their greatness.
Education equals prosperity.
Look at America, Europe and Canada today.
Indians are leading top companies, building global technology, running hospitals, teaching in world-class universities and occupying important positions across the world.
Look at China.
They moved hundreds of millions from poverty to global power by taking education, science, engineering, manufacturing and national planning seriously.
None of this happened by accident.
Nations that invest in human capital eventually export influence.
That is the path we must take.
We are not grooming children just to survive Nigeria.
We are grooming a generation that will compete with the best minds on earth.
Our education must move from survival to global domination.

I have been suspecting my gym buddies of being gays for God knows how long now, today I asked one in a very calm respectful manner, the laugh him laugh me ehh, bro pulled out his phone, went to hidden files, saw a video of him cracking two of our gym girls in his crib🤦🏿♂️
Burkinabé students now need government permission to study abroad. This means that whether your father is a cabinet minister or a private millionaire, there is no way for their children to escape the state of the country's educational system
Which leaves them no choice but to make sure that the facilities available to students in the country are befitting of their own children.
That is how a country develops an actual elite. Not like Nigeria where as soon as I finished secondary school, my parents put me on a plane to England to enjoy a standard of education that no Nigerian alive today will ever enjoy in Nigeria. The class my parents belong to is called a pseudo-elite.
A proper elite is what is coming together now in the AES. Just wait. If there is no change of Nigeria's trajectory, within 10 years, Nigerians will start going to university in Burkina Faso and making it out to be a status symbol.
When we criticize religious leaders for failing to call out bad leadership, and for extravagant spending on large auditoriums while people suffer from lack of jobs and hospitals, people say we should face the leaders and leave the religious houses out of it because they’re not the government. I agree, they’re not the government. Pastors shouldn’t be held accountable for the lack of good roads, hospitals, or schools for the average person.
But now, tell me, why are these same pastors trying to convince the average person that the work of security is in the hands of God, and that the government has done its best? Are you people not mad like this?
God is not building us hospitals. God has looked away from our bad roads. God seems not to be interested in building factories for us. And, quite frankly, we’re not angry with Him for looking away from all of this, because we have a government that collects our taxes, manages our resources, controls our money, and regulates our trades. That government has access to our national treasury, and all we’re asking of them is to use what we have to build a society where humans can live.
And now you, who have been saying we should leave you alone because you are not that government, are telling us that our security can only be fixed by God? You mean the God who has abandoned our schools, our hospitals, our roads, and has failed to build us a single factory? You mean that God will now go into the bush to rescue the children He watched get kidnapped?
Again, are you people not mad like this?
Interestingly, one of the worst things about the Nigerian character - bloviating, buffoonish overconfidence - is also a superpower that sets Nigerians apart when it is intentionally harnessed and channelled correctly.
Whenever Nigerians (born and raised in Nigeria) learn how to combine their social confidence with actual intellectual substance and a good amount of self awareness, the world will have a serious problem on its hands.
I believe in my people🙏🏿
Nigerians are obsessed with religion and it’s derailing the country. Common sense flies out of the window the moment their religion is involved. It’s typical of other highly religious countries. No progress, very corrupt, zero love for humanity, just prayers and hallucinations.
My Vision for a Productive and Prosperous Nigeria
Today, being the 1st of July, 2026, I wish to humbly recall that when I decided to contest for the office of President of Nigeria, I pledged to place Nigeria on the path of unity and national transformation. Now, as the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, I will, in the coming weeks and months, provide insights into the roadmap that I am confident will help curb abuse in government, halt the decline in the quality of life of Nigerians at all levels, and usher in an era of unity, peace, sustained progress, and prosperity.
This vision is anchored on a commitment to unity, inclusion, social justice, equity, and the freedom of every citizen to pursue lawful dreams.
Central to this proposed roadmap are significant reforms in education and healthcare, which are at the core of human capital development.
Robust human capital is indispensable infrastructure for national progress. It serves as the fundamental capital upon which daily life, economic expansion, and the delivery of essential public services depend.
These are foundational areas that we must reform with energy and determination if we are to reap the demographic dividend of our youthful population.
From the outset of my presidency, we will establish a task force dedicated to drastically reducing the menace of out-of-school children. We will place greater emphasis on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to support our drive for massive industrialisation, anchored on our agricultural endowments and value addition across value chains organised around industrial parks to be located in development zones across the geopolitical regions of the country.
Funding and improving the equipment of TVET institutions, through partnerships among government, the private sector, and social entrepreneurs such as faith-based educators, will facilitate apprenticeship opportunities in the private sector, similar to the German dual education system.
The situation in which unemployment remains high while Nigerian entrepreneurs establish businesses elsewhere because skilled labour is scarce must be confronted decisively. Doing so is essential for the common good and for facilitating our transition from a consumption-driven economy to a production-driven one.
Character and civic education, emphasising the values that foster trust - an essential ingredient for enterprise and leadership - as well as shared national values, will receive significant attention within the tripartite approach to governance that we propose.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Here is a hidden mechanism through which the Nigerian government is quietly taxing Nigerians, while no one talks about Tinubu’s New Tax Regime anymore. They don't teach you this in school.
