@AaronBastani It’s not a good line because the billionaire class is taxed. Every time someone points this out to him, he either ignores the point or just shouts over them. His ideas do not stack up.
@annaturley So to do that, you make it MORE expensive ensuring only the VERY rich can afford, the number of bursaries are reduced and the opportunity you had is removed. Did you skip the critical thinking lessons?
You missed the eye watering costs associated with this plus the destruction of all manufacturing and industry. And some £20bn+ carbon capture machine that is unproven and will literally do nothing other than burn cash.
Oh and we’re already seeing the data centres take a look at the electricity prices and cancel projects here.
@matthewsyed Which of his many U-turns was your favourite? And which of the many resignations / sackings did you like most as he threw employees and supporters under the bus to protect himself? I was particularly impressed by his ability to call everyone he disagreed with as far-right
@patmcfaddenmp Try reducing the minimum wage for young employees, reducing NIC for young employees, try reducing business rates and try to stop decimating the hospitality industry.
Possibly saved you the airfare…
They’re going to fleece the UK for every penny they think they can get.
They won’t conceed on any points and you lot couldn’t negotiate your way out of a wet paper bag.
They will continue to punish the UK for stepping ‘out of line’ to make an example of us to stop any other country thinking they could do the same.
